What will you be doing?
As a product owner, you’ll manage the PAS-X sedApta Finite Scheduler, a vital digital scheduling solution for production shop floor, to minimize capacity loss and automate fine planning tasks. Your role includes overseeing and managing the project portfolio, aligning product development with business needs, and collaborating with a third-party vendor for development and deployment. As a result, you can expect a dynamic, fast-paced role that offers ample career development opportunities and space for continuous growth.

The role consists of the following two areas of responsibility as follows:

Product Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for product roadmap, prioritize LoB change requests, and ensure product development aligns with LoB needs
  • Act as a subject matter expert in production planning, managing interfaces for upstream and downstream processes
  • Manage product budget, lead fit gap assessments, and conduct requirement workshops
  • Align product infrastructure with MES System Operations team and facilitate knowledge transfer to ProdOps support team

Deployment Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for portfolio management and governance of stakeholders, to ensure timely and successful execution
  • Responsible for deployment and upgrade roadmap, whilst driving and managing intake of new requests from LoB
  • Promote the product and its business benefits and facilitate project activities through to the start of the Build Phase
  • Drive continuous improvement of deployment process, in partnership with vendor

Qualifications:
As a person you are friendly, ambitious, result driven, proactive and have an open and flexible attitude. You enjoy working in teams and energized by collaborating with others. You are known to get the job done and are open to adapt to changes around you.

To be successful in this role, we require the following:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics, supply chain, engineering or equivalent and a proven experience (+3 years) within production and/or capacity planning
  • Leadership/project management experience including strong stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills and speaks and writes fluent Danish and English
  • Experience with the following is advantageous but not a requirement:
    • LEAN or similar strategies, pharma production/operations, system implementation and configuration
The team waiting for you
You will be anchored in the Product Management team within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Agile Programme, part of Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) Product Supply, focusing on implementing key systems supporting Novo Nordisk’ manufacturing processes. We set the strategic direction and ensure that processes across production lines are automated and optimized.

Our team, based in Bagsværd, Denmark, collaborates closely with Product Supply colleagues. This allows direct interaction with the users and technologies propelling our global manufacturing processes. Our team is diverse in terms of capabilities and backgrounds and comprises roles from product managers to SCRUM masters and MES analysts.
